Susan Moss is a photographer based in Montreal, Canada. She’s best known for her kick-ass band photos where everyone looks hot. Her raw and extensive collection of portrait work exudes personality. She makes people relaxed. She shoots them as they really are, living their lives, at their best, beautiful and spontaneous. She likes patterns and sees them everywhere, like in paint peeling off the side of a building. She knows everybody. She finds the extraordinary in the mundane and gleefully proves it in pictures. It takes her a really long time to cross the street because from puddles to people, and bulldozers to reflections, there’s always a photo beckoning. Maybe that’s also why she only ever takes her camera off to go swimming.
